After some defeats of Kingdom forces to the Drow the Blitzkrieg and the war council call decided to withdraw their forces under the cover of rain and bad weather. It rained and rained for a few days all day every hour rain and more rain. The flooding that followed was also huge and swept over large parts of the Western Kingdom. | |||

Aquila is the largest of the three regions that make up the Western Kingdom with Aladar and Bowcourt and is the seat of the kingdom. It is divided into 13 counties and comprises hundreds of baronies.
It is also home to the Unified Western Church a powerful religious organisation popular throughout Western Alusia.

The current ruler of Aquila is Duke Herzog Albrecht.
The previous Duke was the late Duke Frederick III of Aquila, father to the Western King, and husband of Dulciena, Marquessa de Bowcourt.
Others of Note
- Lady Catherine of Stormguard is the late Duke's sister and Aunt to King Ulric. She was forced to marry Blitzkrieg, Baron Stormguard, which marked the end of the Middle Duchies war.
