On the northeast coast of Terranova lie some of the city states of the Drow lands of Northern Terranova.

Travelling to the area

Here is a general guide to travel from leaving Carzala and seeing landfall of the northeast coast of Terranova-

  • Flying by high rank Summon & Bind Cloud for those using (charts) will take 8 weeks first time.
  • Flying by high rank Summon & Bind Cloud for those using (charts & experience) will take 6 weeks subsequent times.
  • By fast good ship with two water mages knowing where you are going (by chart) will take 6-10 weeks first time.
  • By fast good ship with two water mages knowing where you are going (by chart & experience) will take 4-8 weeks subsequent times.
  • By normal speed trade ship with two water mages knowing where you are going (by chart) will take 10-16 weeks first time.
  • By normal speed trade ship with two water mages knowing where you are going (by chart & experience) will take 10+ weeks subsequent times.
  • Air Mage flying or Shadow Wings will fail.
  • Turning into something that swims = 14+ weeks
  • Flying on a magical two horse slay
  • Getting lost over snowy cold lands and pathways

Other

City-states

These city-states differ in many things but here are some of the things understood to be common among them -

  • All of them are ruled by the Drow, with other populations of slaves being Drow, Elves, Humans and Hobbits.
  • Most practice a high level of sacrifice based magic.
  • All are politically independent (sometimes even going to war).
  • Many cities share factions such as large powerful Clan families, Military schools & orders, along with groups of traders and guides.
  • Powerful Priesthoods often span many cities.


Dark Realms & City States

It is rumoured that their are nineteen Drow cities. Once again, stories of three new cities having returned from the wars. This apparently happened during the winter mana storms in the year 800 WK.

Also in 800 WK the ancient arcane vaults of the ancestors were opened. This is said - to prove a common Drow legend about the rise of Dylath from the ashes. Others are concerned that Dylath is not in ashes.

Only 12 cities are know to the Guild as at 812 WK, and information is limited because of the danger & risk.

Outside Trade

Pasifika & Isle of Delph
Since 806 WK, four brave traders made a few very profitable voyages (often taking nine months) from Pasifika. One secured a letter of trade with some cities only to be turned into slaves and ship seized. Drow navigators from the city of Misra on the Isle of Delph sail from time to time to Terranova.

Destiny & Western Kingdom taders in 815 WK
Rumour has it - that some traders have become very wealth with trades to & from Terranova.
Rumoir of - the trading ship Gastrol, and Captain John Smith.
