Absalom is a great city (pop 300 thousand) on the plane of Golarion. It has been visited by guild members a number of times now. The city has a number of districts a few of which are dangerous, the harbor has a great field of shipwrecks from previous attacks on the city, and the lands outside the walls are littered with siege castles & barrows of various sorts many of which still have some residents. It is built around the Starstone, a great meteor that fell ages ago, and is rumoured to give great power to any that reach it. | |||

Portals
Two portals are known to this plane
The first is located at the back of the far stall of the Guild Stables, and comes out at an identical set of stables near the Pathfinder Society Grand Lodge in the city of Absalom. It did originally come out somewhere else in Absalom but was shifted.
The second is one of the many trilithons spaced around the plane of Palaeolithica. This one was, until recently, buried under a glacier and came out in the country of Irrisen]
