The Scrolls of Kael are the writings which contain the wisdom and teachings of Kael.

The five scrolls are written on everburning parchment but can be handled without noticable effect by all true Elves. The scrolls contain tretise on how to be a true Elf, instructions on how to preform rituals and rites to gain favour and historical antecdotes and observations. The last scroll is said to contain ever changing and accumulating prophecies about the elven people.

The scrolls were reputably sent out of the Empire to be hidden because of a prophecy surrounding their involement in the fall of the Elven crown.

NB the word crown is in dispute among scholars of the ancient language. Some believe the correct translation is empire, other people and one discredited lunatic cites matriachy as the correct term.
