All those pictures are making the page huge and the page is no longer viewable at reasonable speed through dialup. Are you able to shrink them down some more or can we move them to a page of GM pics?

Mandos can we make three pages instead of one page for the GMs? What I am thinking is a front menu page which has two pages off it one with GMs and the other with GMs and Photos. Or I could remove the photo from the write up area and do a page with just mug shots - what do you think?
Also the photo's are around 50k each atm. Given that I would like to see a photo for all GMs to assist new players, this would become large. What is a dial-up acceptable amount of image size?

I think we might be better putting up a Page of GM Pictures. 34 GM's at 50K eack is 1.5M. At dialup speeds thats about 5 mins to open the page.
You could try 5K per photo as that might work, but the page will still be pretty big at almost 200K.

How about this mix: GM's page has a link in each GM's entry to the current 50kb photo (hosted off-wiki). This means a person with dial-up can easily see a photo of a GM that they have been advised to see. GM's page has a link (at the top) to GM's Photo page (with appropriate warning), so those who don't mind a big download can scan photos of active GM's (so they can figure out who they were talking to :-)

The Article is there for historical reasons, it is one of the first things to come accross from the old website. I think it does server a useful purpose.
With regards to the photos I think the GM category pages might be the best place for them. I am currently trialling using my category page as the page with all my info on it. Which seems to work for me.
I have set up categories for all the GM's and players I can find and it is no effort to add a few more and add the photo's to those pages.

I have moved all the images to the page where the link goes to for that user. Where users do not have links I have left the images as two or three images is not a problem.
All the user pages looked ok after adding the pics with the exception of Jono's (sorry Jono) but I figured Jono is a smart lad who is more than able to reformat the page to look nice again!
