House Tal'Dyran of the Kijaand Empire is the largest, although probably not wealthiest, of the Houses in the Empire. Its extensive land holdings in the western half of the Empire bring in extensive resources, but in turn require a large militia to control and hold. Its stranglehold on the Imperial throne extended over twelve centuries until the schism which saw the splitting off of Tal'Diren.
