Aristo

Elven Merchant Prince. Head of the Alden house. Primarily a slaver and dealer in fine goods. Has been moving into less salubrious markets since a restraint of trade agreement with Jubal expired. He has two sons Barain and Gaheris who run similar, though smaller establishments, and a brother who runs the recruitment side of the business. Both sons are currently deceased, following a tragic series of accidents.

In Aristo's current absence, nominal control of Alden house goes to his eldest living daughter Jaelle, currently at finishing school in Alfheim. However, the partially resurrected Jharn (who is trapped in a painting) is suing for full control. The court case is stalled on technicalities, but both sides seem to have limitless funds. In the meantime, Alden house is being run very conservatively by a commitee of executors, and is slowly shrinking in influence.

His tendency to keep ailing or very young horses in his back rooms is not particularly appreciated by his neighbours.
