Red-Headed Erik

Duesday 1st Thaw

At the guild we are recruited and briefed by Erik, a tall red-headed man from Jurgenmark.

3 days ago, a 'civic minded murderer/thief' killed someone by the front gates of Viahold and then alerted the guards to the corpse and letters on it. The courier had 7 letters that Lady Sigrun Jurgenmark wants investigated as they incriminate powerful families of the Western Kingdoms in War Crimes during the Jurgenmark occupation. We are to return any evidence to the King of the Western Kingdom.

Lord Vlad does not believe this is a disinformation campaign.

Margrave Henrik would also like certain jewellery if we find it.

Lady Sigrun is issuing us letters of authority to investigate in Henrik's name. That grants us reasonable authority to investigate in Jurgenmark and dubious authority elsewhere in the WK.

We need to pick up a scholar (genealogist) on the way and take her to Jurgenmark. Dame Erzsabet from the hills of Central Aquila.

We are paid 3,000sp up front.

We get cheap rk 16 GE (except Wundstr who is rich), healing potions, and restoratives. Then off to the pub.
