New Military Arrangement

The military was reconfigured in recognition that Elvandar will no longer dominate the Elven Host. Compulsory military training has been instituted for all elves, which is seen as a good excuse to motivate some physical activity and hardship, after all lethargy equals demonic influence. The crown can still rely on Elvandan forces, the deployment of which will be integrated by the crown into the greater Elven Host.
An Elven reserve was raised to support the Borderers. The reserve regiments have a powerful magical component, with about 1 in 5 being a mage.
Each province has raised at least one Provincial Regiment.
Elven Host Regiments will be a mixture of companies from the Reserve, the Provincial regiments and Elvandar.
Guard regiments will be of eight companies raised by the crown.
