New Destiny
A large tropical island off the coast of Central Terranova.
New Destiny was the first landfall made by the expedition led by exiled Destinian Don Francisco Pizarro de Cordoba in the Spring of 791 WK and was named by Don Francisco for his former homeland.
The settlement that was founded on the shores of the deep-water harbour used by the fleet was named for the leader of the expeditions marines - Porto Bozo.
The choice of island and harbour was not pure chance as Don Francisco had information that an ancient portal end lay in the vicinity. This portal was later restored by the Mulberry brothers and linked to one of the smaller islands in the Elven Isles
Contact was lost with the island around 812 WK and since the Drow invading western Alusia were using the portal it must be assumed they had seized the island. The current disposition on the island's Destinian settlers or native saurians is unknown as at 826 WK.
