This spell was developed by priests in the service of Anwaan and Diancecht to protect the latter from the viscitudes of the world. It removes the target creature to the Land of Anwaan for a year and a day. There, they are feted and guested by Anwaan and the perils of evil are made clear to them. During this time the target may renounce evil without ill effect if they were elsewhere pacted. Regardless of their decision vis-a-vis evil, they are returned to their own world at the end of the duration of the spell.
The Adept causes 2+1 human sized creatures for every 4 ranks or fraction thereof, to be cast from their reality to the Land of Anwaan - the Celtic Land of the Dead, if they are successfully affected. Those affected remain in Anwaan for a year and a day then they are returned, complete with belongings, to the exact place they departed from (if this is possible). Exception: Non-evil members of the Seagate Adventurer's Guild affected by this spell are always returned to the Guild a year and a day later - a special benison sought from Anwaan by Phaeton, priest of Diancecht and Guild member in good standing.
To be affected by this spell, the Adept must overcome the the total remaining fatigue and endurance of the target with spiritual damage - damage is (D+1) + 2/rank. Double and triple effects apply. Undead and Unholy creatures are not affected by this spell. To the viewer, the target apears consumed by a cleansing flame, in reality they have been banished to Anwaan's Lands in the Summer Country.
NB: This spell is teachable to other Solar Celestials who follow Diancecht, or Anwaan, and requires a symbol of either deity. If the symbol is stolen or forced from a priest of either deity, it appears to the thief to have a Wish lodged within it. If this Wish is used, it calls down a Wild Hunt on the user. Those slain by the Hunt are slain irrevocably and their souls become part of the Hunt
Celestial Lighting modifiers do not affect the casting of this spell
