Independent of the Duchy of Drakenburg, and pay no taxes and do not provide any kind of support for the Duke or Duchy.
Darkhorn Kingdoms
The Darkhorn Kingdom Dwarves lie below the Duchy of Drakenburg. They are a strong supporter and active member of the Axe Alliance. The stronghold is in regular contact with Imther Stronghold in the Lunar Empire, often to seek guidance from the Powerful Seers, who work for and with the First Children. They are in fact, five large underground strongholds connected by miles of tunnels and mines.
The Hive Dwarves serve as the trading fort with the Atropine Insect creatures.

- Onyx Clan Holding of Rockhome Holdings.
The population of all three strongholds is said to be in excess of 300,000 Dwarves and ~50,000 Hobbits, Halflings and Tall fallows. These numbers are questionable and are fifth hand by way of traders.
