Reuters appear to hold the copyright for this image and their copyright notice states that there can be no redistribution without consent.

Could someone please confirm we have permission to use this image otherwise it will be removed. Mandos 16:40, 19 Dec 2007 (NZDT)

What are the consequences of using these images? Who owns this site and what legal relationship do those of us that post on it have to this owner? Who would / could Reuters actually come after?

I own the site and if anyone decides to get nasty I am on the receiving end. There is enough freely available images available on the internet that we do not need to use images with copyrights. Or we should be asking permission which in this case is an Email to Reuters.

People were very worried about putting the DQ rules online due to copyright issues and so that was sorted out with an Email to the appropriate people. We need to have the same care with images. Mandos 06:54, 20 Dec 2007 (NZDT)
