He told the old elf his tale of what he had done; his original mission, and how it came about. Also who he really was and who is adoptive family was. | |||
At hearing Alandis mothers name the old elf exploded in an uncontrolled cry and released Alandis from the shackle that hold him captive. After apologising profusely for his mistake the old elf treated the inflicted wounds and assisting with re-establishing Alandis welfare by providing food and drinks of any kind. He later explained and apologise for his eremitic life style and his hate for intruders. He also reminisced of past friendship and the special bond he had with Mariele, Alandis Mother. Boronovel open invitation to stay and share his humble hut was warmly accepted by Alandis as he thought it might discover more about his family. During the following months Boronovel talked about his life and what brought him here. Alandis shared his story with the old elf and questioned him on his knowledge of his family history. However the old elf could not help Alandis as he did not know of his origins. He only had knowledge about what was shared between the old Elf and Mariele, before losing contact with her. | |||

Boronevoel recognising the dark shadows on Alandis and the desperation in his eyes offers him a place to stay as well as an offer to train as ranger. “This could be a way to keep you occupied and distracted†Boronovel suggested. Alandis gladly accept and spend the next 70 years learning about all the secrets of the forest. Boronovel also trains him on the way of the elven people, as Alandis had little contact with. | |||
