Word is spread across the isles requesting anyone with Herbalist or Healing skills to go to [[Setagen]] to assist with plague containment.

Illness similar to an earlier plague is reported in [[Setagen]]. The port is closed and cutters are sent out to stop ships that left the day before. Word is sent to the Royal Court.

First reports arrive at the capital of a plague that has spread through [[Matan]], The province is sealed and healers from all over the isles are sent to the province to assist.

The town of [[Boeloengan#Cities|Kinarigan]] wakes in the morning to find the whole town surrounded by 2 inches of salt covering over 40 acres. Locals are pleased to discover that beneath the layer of salt the land is rich and fertile and a number of individuals begin to reclaim farmsteads that have lain abandoned for hundreds of years.

Birth of Granius Gallus Fabia, new king of [[Insel der Freiheit]]. A regency council is formed and sworn in consisting of his mother [[Mercato#People|Calerusa Granius Fabia]], his grandfather [[Mercato#People|Crispin Numerius Fabia]] and the Prince of [[Umshatar]], [[Umshatar#People|Bamballio Longinus Amandio]]. The birth coming at the same time as the end of the northern drought is taken as an Omen of a good reign. The capital holds feasts and celebrations lasting for a fortnight.

Flash floods spontaneously occur along all dry rivers in Serewak and other northern provinces. The fact that this occurs during the festival of [[Festivals of Insel der Freiheit#Loy Krathong|Loy Krathong]] is taken as a sign of the Gods approval of the peace process and is a cause of great celebration in the northern towns.

A High court has been called in the capital on this date to discuss accusations of assassination between the House's [[Koetai#People|Philadelphus]] and [[Serawak#People|Apollonius]].
===16th of Thaw===
A group of traders associated with [[Tanah Boemboe#Captains|Orientalis Papinius Paetas]] tracks down the Orc mercenaries that attacked the ship and kills them. Returning the evidence to [[Pasir]].
===11th Thaw===
A ship the 'Paetas Pride' was attacked by an unknown group. Initial reports stated that only the captain and first mate survived although [[Koetai#People|Dexippus Pinarus Philadelphus]] the heir to [[Koetai#People|House Philadelphus]] was found along with the navigator and are reported to have survived although they received substantial injuries.
===9th Thaw===
A volcano appeared off the coast of Laoet. Tremors were felt for a number of minutes as far away as [[Dajak]]. A small tsunami hit the eastern coastline but caused little damage as most towns were protected by the Island of Laoet.
===3rd of Thaw===
The body of [[Serawak#People|Rubico Marcius]] is found dead while on a diplomatic mission to
[[Koetai]]. The body is found drained of blood in a similar manner to [[Mercato#People|Aulia Justis Fabia]], the only other markings are a red scale 4 inches square.
===20th of Ice===
A group of Orc Mercenaries recruited by [[Mercato#People|House Fabia]] cross the lines into [[Umshatar]] and attack the civilian population of [[Banta]]. The town is put to the torch and a large portion of the population is slaughtered, the women raped and left for dead, the children found partially devoured and 600 menfolk impaled on spikes through the main streets.
===Third Month of Winter===
Vowing revenge the war seems likely to escalate until [[Mercato#People|Aulia Justis Fabia]] is found deceased on his estates and the body had been drained of blood. [[Mercato#People|Calerusa Granius Fabia]] signs a peace treaty with [[Umshatar#People|House Amandio]], part of which bans all foreign mercenary companies from the Isles. A number of these companies disappear into the jungle prior to the signing. [[Mercato#People|Calerusa's]] as yet unborn child is named King, causing some disgust from [[Mercato#People|Faustinius Sextilius Fabia]] who vows revenge. [[Mercato#People|Aulia's]] father however accepts that his younger son may not take the throne in order to restore peace and remains as an advisor on the grounds that [[Mercato#People|Calerusa]] and the child retain the Fabia family name.
===Autumn===
[[Return of the King|A guild Party]] informs Silverwind he is required elsewhere and he departs taking 3200 men with him. The balance shift slightly towards the [[Mercato#People|House Fabia]] but the forces are now evenly matched and things settle down as people prepare for a long war.

Silverwind leads a campaign agains Aulia and is on the verge of breaking the defensive lines when a Dwarven mercenary unit is found to have raided a number of towns within Umshatar and Silverwind is order to break off the campaign to rout the raiders. Due to the success of the campaign Silverwind is Promoted to command the armies of Umshatar to the visible disgust of Ahala Arrius Brocchus a close companion who had been tipped to take the position. Shortly after the announcement Ahala called challenge upon Silverwind and a few minutes after combat commenced Ahala's hand had been severed, his face slashed and he fled bleeding. He has not been seen since.

An an Elvan Assassin Alicia is hired to assassinate [[Mercato#People|Aulia]], he captures the assassin. A deal is signed by [[Tanah Boemboe#People|Caelistis]] and [[Umshatar#People|Bamballio]] to allow Bamballio's recruiters to use [[Tanah Boemboe#People|Caelistis']] ships to hire mercenaries. As part of this deal Silverwinds Company's contract is signed over to Bamballio.

Prince [[Tanah Boemboe#People|Caelistis Pescenniu Paetas]] begins to recruit mercenaries as well in case the war spills into his lands. One of the companies he recruits is Silverwinds Company, an elite Elven unit.

Aulia begins to hire mercenaries in large numbers, housing them in camps near the front in defensive positions.

The first major campaign, both armies meet on the field, moderate casualties on both sides and no clear victor. Each year the armies meet and fight along the borderlands each seeking an advantage to no avail.
