: The journey of Prydera, Lath, Pierre, Tempest, Sasha and Vapour to retrieve the equipment of the Sorceress in Silver and of her companion, a dwarf.

This is Prydera writing. I am party leader, scribe and military scientist. We modified the contract to specify that we can each chose one item from the Sorceress in Silver's satchel and that item is added to the party treasure. We then split the party treasure as usual. The adventure began on 5 August 1993 and ended on 27 August 1993. Theses notes were written on my return to the Guild for reasons that will become clear. I would have included a couple of sketches (not of any particular relevance) and a couple of maps of areas we visited, but these were stolen from me along with my other equipment.

We travelled on Sith's boat to [[Felicemouth]]. I bought a pony, as did Sasha. We travelled south and came to a village, [[Erewhon]]. The village was practically deserted. It is cursed by a Goblin. Early the next morning the goblin stole the barmaid. We followed for much longer than we had planned, and end up spending a night in the open without much equipment. A Centaur helpt us in our search. At one point we turned a very large man back from stone and he gave us a sword. We found the goblin's den down a well, rescued the barmaid and burnt out the goblin. We found some interesting stuff and some gold and silver. Pierre seemed to think we should give all this stuff back to the villagers. Eventually he saw the wisdom of my arguments and we keep the loot.

The next day we were captured by hobgoblins. Very sad â€” I was knocked unconscious as the battle began and things did not go well. We walked all night and spent the next day chained UP at the hobgoblins' cave. The day was terrible â€” we kept attempting to escape and nearly succeeded several times, but each time we were noticed and chained up with more chains deeper in the caves. A guard tried to rape Lath and Sasha at one point and we managed to be left alone for a bit but still failed to get free of the chains. We walked all night and were thrown in a pit in a town. Some orcs came and talked to us. They are trying to stop the forcible slaving of travellers in the area but are having little success. However they agreed to buy us at the auction on the next day.

They do. As we had lost all our equipment they equipped us and we went on our way promising to return and pay them back. We travelled north for a day and a half and then met two trolls. I died. The next morning I awoke to find myself in a dwarven town under a mountain. The dwarves were very kind and healed me and gave us much better equipment. I mean truly excellent equipment. It took a few days for me to get better.

We travelled north for half a day and found the tower where the Sorceress in Silver's equipment was. Lath fell off a cliff on our journey there. The dire wolf the Sorceress in Silver left guarding it had set up shop. Fortunately he had not sold any of her equipment, but he had sold some of the dwarf's. The dire wolves (there were several of them) decided to travel south with us and behaved strangely and were very difficult to deal with. Eventually we got rid of them and were back with the dwarves. Some magical mishaps delayed us there a day or so and then we flew to Felicemouth and sailed back to the Guild.

The treasure split occurred. As seems to be usual at treasure splits an argument raged. I get a magical satchel which will lighten my load on future adventures. I also make plans to take the equipment and money back to the orcs who saved us, but that will be another tale.
